- Two prepared pie crusts
- 2 cans of apple pie filling
- Cinnamon and sugar to sprinkle on top

- Turn on oven to 425º
- Line an 8-inch pie plate with prepared piecrust
- Put 1 and ½ cans of apple pie filling into pie plate
- Sprinkle cinnamon and sugar on top of pie filling

- Take second piecrust and place on top of apples
- Pinch pie dough together all around the pie
- Make vents in the top piecrust

- Place aluminum foil covered baking sheet
- Place pie on the center rack of the oven
- Bake 50 minutes or until pie is light brown

- Wait until pie has cooled, then cut into 6 or 8 pieces
- Add ice cream or whipped cream, if desired
- Garnish with sharp cheddar cheese, if desired
